Sonia Gandhi wants to make Rahul Gandhi PM, Stalin wants Udaynidhi as CM: Amit Shah on INDIA

On Friday, Union Minister Amit Shah delivered a strong message to Congress and DMK while inaugurating the En Mann En Makkal foot march, a six-month-long padayatra being undertaken by the Tamil Nadu BJP. Taking a dig at the opposition\’s alliance, INDIA (Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance), Amit Shah remarked that neither of these parties genuinely cares for the country\’s welfare. He singled out Sonia Gandhi, MK Stalin, Lalu Yadav, Mamata Banerjee, and Uddhav Thackeray, stating their personal ambitions of promoting their family members for top positions rather than working for the nation. In contrast, he emphasized that only Prime Minister Modi is relentlessly dedicated to serving the country day and night.

Amit Shah expressed his disapproval of the name changes made by some political parties, stating that the public remembers their past scandals and corruption, such as the 2G scam, Commonwealth Games scam, and coal scam, regardless of rebranding efforts.

Referring to the DMK government as the most corrupt and a mafia government, Amit Shah questioned why Senthil Balaji remains in the cabinet despite controversies. He accused the government of being involved in illegal activities such as the wine mafia, sand mafia, and corruption in Tamil Nadu Electricity generation and distribution.

The ongoing Parliament logjam over the INDIA bloc\’s protest, demanding Prime Minister Modi\’s statement on the Manipur issue, was another point of focus in Amit Shah\’s address. Congress has moved a no-confidence motion in the Lok Sabha, backed by all INDIA parties, which is scheduled for consideration the following week. Amit Shah has reached out to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, requesting cooperation from the opposition parties to ensure smooth functioning in Parliament.
