PSG aim to beat Bayern for Spur’s Harry Kane

According to the Independent, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is considering making a move to sign Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane. The 29-year-old, who has entered the final year of his contract, has recently attracted interest from Manchester United and Bayern Munich. With Kane now open to a move in Europe, PSG is looking to rekindle their previous interest in acquiring his services.

The PSG hierarchy is eager to secure a top-class striker this summer and had previously been linked with Napoli\’s Victor Osimhen. However, the club is now confident in their pursuit of Kane and is prepared to match any offer made by the Bundesliga champions.

Earlier this week, sources informed ESPN that Bayern Munich had already submitted two bids to Spurs for Kane, with the second bid amounting to โ‚ฌ94 million ($103.19 million).

Kane, who scored 30 goals in the Premier League last season, is only 48 goals away from surpassing Alan Shearer\’s all-time league record of 260 goals.

While it has been reported that Kane\’s preference would be a move to Old Trafford with Manchester United, little progress has been made in negotiations with Spurs owner Daniel Levy, making PSG and Bayern Munich the frontrunners in the race for his signature.
