On a Friday night, a powerful earthquake with a magnitude of 6.4 rocked Nepal’s Lamidanda region in the Jajarkot district, causing tremors that reached Delhi-NCR. According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), the earthquake struck at a depth of 10 km, at coordinates of 28.84 N latitude and 82.19 E longitude. This incident marked the third notable earthquake in Nepal in just one month, with its effects being felt in several cities across northern India at approximately 11:30 pm.
