In the final of the inaugural edition of Major League Cricket, Nicholas Pooran displayed a stunning performance, leading the Mumbai Indians New York to a seven-wicket victory over the Seattle Orcas. With a target of 184 runs for victory, MI achieved the milestone with an impressive 24 balls to spare.

Pooran\’s unbeaten knock of 137 runs off just 55 balls left spectators in awe, as he struck an incredible 13 sixes and 10 fours. His remarkable innings made him the highest run-scorer of the entire tournament. Notably, he also achieved the season\’s fastest half-century, reaching 50 runs in just 16 balls during his breathtaking innings.

As Kieron Pollard was sidelined due to injury, Pooran took on the responsibility of leading the team. Speaking after the win, he expressed his pride in the team\’s efforts, saying they had discussed the goal of creating history.
