Indian Air Force’s Surya Kiran Team To Perform Air Show Ahead Of World Cup Final

On Thursday, an official announced that the Surya Kiran aerobatic team from the Indian Air Force is set to perform an air show preceding the Cricket World Cup final on November 19 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Motera. The Defence PRO for Gujarat revealed that the Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team will enthrall the audience with a ten-minute spectacle before the start of the final match.

As per the PRO\’s statement, rehearsals for the air show are scheduled for Friday and Saturday.

India has secured a place in the ODI World Cup final after defeating New Zealand on Wednesday. The team will compete against the winner of the second semi-final match between Australia and South Africa in the ultimate showdown.

Typically consisting of nine aircraft, the Surya Kiran aerobatic team of the IAF has demonstrated its skills through numerous air shows across the country. The highlights of their performances include loop maneuvers in victory formation, barrel roll maneuvers, and the creation of various shapes in the sky.
