The Cello World IPO, which commenced its subscription period on Monday, October 30 and is scheduled to conclude on Wednesday, November 1, has piqued the interest of diverse investor groups. The IPO offers shares in the price range of ₹617 to ₹648 per equity share, each having a face value of ₹5.
Regarding the allocation strategy, Cello World has designated specific segments for various investor categories. A maximum of 50% of the shares in the public offering are set aside for Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs), with not less than 15% allocated for Non-Institutional Investors (NIIs). Meanwhile, a minimum of 35% is reserved for Retail Investors. In addition, eligible employees participating in the employee reserve portion can avail of a special discount of ₹61 per equity share.
Following the first day of subscription, the IPO statistics are as follows: The retail investors\’ segment witnessed a subscription rate of 35%, the NII segment demonstrated substantial demand at 94%, Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) secured 2% of their allocated shares, and the employee portion received subscriptions totaling 42%.
