The no-confidence motion was vanquished through a voice vote orchestrated by the lower house speaker, as seen in televised images. This occurred shortly after opposition Members of Parliament, including Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the Congress party, exited the chamber.
In his response to the no-confidence motion in the Lok Sabha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed gratitude, stating, \”The citizens of our country have repeatedly demonstrated their trust in our government, and I extend my thanks to all of them.\”

Taking a jab at the Congress party, Prime Minister Modi remarked on the notable absence of their prominent leader from the roster of speakers. He acknowledged the generosity of Amit Shah, who allocated time for Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury to speak. He humorously speculated, \”I\’m unsure of the circumstances that led Congress to sideline Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury—perhaps a call was made from Kolkata.\”
Highlighting the government\’s accomplishments, Prime Minister Modi declared, \”We\’ve led a government free from scandals, empowering the youth of India, providing them the confidence and opportunities to soar high in the open sky.\” He stressed that the nation\’s primary goal should be unwavering dedication to its development.
Citing data from organizations such as NITI Aayog, IMF, and UNICEF, Prime Minister Modi shared progress in India\’s fight against poverty and the positive impact of initiatives like \’Swachh Bharat\’ on the lives of the underprivileged.
Prime Minister Modi tackled criticism of his government\’s international image, asserting that despite efforts to besmirch it, the truth prevails on the global stage.
He took a swipe at the opposition, suggesting they possess an enigmatic blessing—their ill will toward certain individuals seems to bring good fortune to them.
Drawing attention to the revival of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Prime Minister Modi lauded its resurgence after alleged efforts to incite negativity among its workforce. He also responded to opposition skepticism regarding India\’s economic growth, reiterating his vision of India becoming the world\’s third-largest economy in the government\’s third term.
Accusing the opposition of betraying the nation, the Prime Minister spotlighted how various states, including Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Bihar, Tripura, and Odisha, have consistently expressed a lack of confidence in the Congress party.
