The North Central Railway (NCR) is currently observing Vigilance Awareness Week, which runs from Monday to November 5. NCR officials have conveyed that the theme chosen by the Central Vigilance Commission for this year\’s vigilance awareness is \”Reject Corruption; Pledge to the Nation.\”
The week kicked off on Monday with a walkathon hosted at NCR headquarters and led by General Manager Satish Kumar. The walk commenced at NCR headquarters and culminated at Railgaon Stadium. During this event, GM Satish Kumar administered the vigilance pledge to both officers and staff, underscoring the crucial mission to eliminate corruption.
GM Satish Kumar also encouraged all participants to uphold integrity in their duties year-round, emphasizing that vigilance and integrity are not confined to a single week but should be consistently practiced by every officer and employee.
In attendance at the event were Senior Deputy General Manager DK Singh, principal heads of departments, and other officers and staff.
Similar initiatives were organized in the Prayagraj, Jhansi, and Agra divisions of the North Central Railway. The vigilance department\’s team is actively promoting the dissemination of circulars and regulations related to vigilance within the headquarters and divisions.
