PM Modi to visit Shirdi in Maharashtra today; From schedule to project inaugurations

Prime Minister Narendra Modi\’s agenda for the day involves a visit to Shirdi in Maharashtra, where he is slated to inaugurate development projects and lay foundation stones. As stated in an official announcement, he will also partake in religious ceremonies and pay his respects at the Saibaba Samadhi Temple.

The schedule for the visit is as follows:

– Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to arrive in Shirdi, Ahmednagar District, at 1 PM and will participate in prayers at the Shri Saibaba Samadhi Temple.

– Around 2 PM, he will perform the Jal Pujan (ceremonial water worship) of Nilwande Dam and officially initiate the canal network connected to the dam.

– At 3:15 PM, the Prime Minister will engage in a public gathering in Shirdi. Within this event, he will unveil and lay the foundation for a range of development projects with an estimated total value of about ₹7,500 crore. These projects encompass various sectors, including healthcare, railways, roads, and the oil and gas industry.

Furthermore, PM Modi will also inaugurate the newly constructed Darshan Queue Complex at the temple. This state-of-the-art facility serves as a waiting area for devotees. Additionally, he will inaugurate the left bank canal network of the Nilwande Dam, a development that promises benefits to 182 villages spanning Ahmednagar and Nashik districts.
