The National Statistical Office (NSO) under the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation has projected a robust 7.3% growth for the Indian economy in the Financial Year 2023-24, exceeding the provisional growth rate of 7.2% in the previous financial year. The 7th edition of Prime Minister Narendra Modi\’s \’Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024,\’ scheduled for the 29th of this month, has garnered over one crore registrations on the MyGov portal. Indra Mani Pandey assumes as new BIMSTEC Secretary General:
Ambassador Indra Mani Pandey, a senior Indian diplomat, officially assumed the position of Secretary-General (SG) of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) on Thursday in Dhaka. Succeeding Tenzin Lekphell of Bhutan, Pandey is the 4th SG of BIMSTEC and will hold the office for a three-year term. read more
