December Sees a 10% Surge in GST Collections, Reaching Rs 1.64 Lakh Crore :
In December 2023, the gross Goods and Services Tax (GST) revenue collection reached ₹1,64,882 crore. This figure represents a 10.3 per cent increase compared to the GST revenues in the same month of the previous year. The Finance Ministry added that the Goods and Services Tax (GST) collection has demonstrated a robust growth of 12 per cent, amounting to ₹14.97 lakh crore over the last nine months.
