In the Emerging Teams Asia Cup, India A delivered an impressive performance to secure a resounding 8-wicket victory over Pakistan A. Sai Sudharsan showcased his batting prowess by smashing an unbeaten century, scoring 104* runs off 110 balls, while Nikin Jose contributed 53 runs off 64 balls to help India A successfully chase down Pakistan A\’s target of 206 runs in just 36.4 overs.

The foundation for India A\’s triumph was laid by Rajvardhan Hangargekar, who displayed remarkable bowling skills, picking up 5/42 to restrict Pakistan A to 205 runs. Hangargekar made an impactful start with a double-wicket maiden and later returned to finish off the tail. Spinner Manav Suthar also played a vital role, taking three wickets in support.

Qasim Akram\’s noteworthy knock of 48 runs proved crucial in enabling Pakistan A to surpass the 200-run mark. As a result of this victory, India A topped Group B and advanced to the semi-finals. They will face Bangladesh A, the runner-up of Group A, in the upcoming semi-final match. Meanwhile, Pakistan A will be competing against Group A winners Sri Lanka A in the other semi-final encounter.
