President Droupadi Murmu has approved three crucial criminal justice bills: Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, and Bharatiya Sakshya Bill 2023, recently passed by Parliament. The Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 replaces the IPC, 1860, introducing community service as a punishment. Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha (Second) Sanhita, 2023 replaces the CrPC, streamlining arrest, prosecution, and bail procedures. Stealth Guided Missile Destroyer INS” Imphal” :
