20 Years of \’Know India Programme : 

The External Affairs Ministry\’s flagship initiative, the \’Know India Programme\’ for the youth diaspora, celebrated its 20th anniversary. Muktesh Pardeshi, Secretary of Consular, Passport, Visa, and Overseas Indian Affairs, marked this milestone during the Valedictory Session of the 70th edition in New Delhi. The program, held from the 11th to the 29th of the month, hosted participants from various countries, including Fiji, Mauritius, Trinidad & Tobago, Suriname, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Myanmar, Malaysia, and Colombia. PM Modi to flag off six Vande Bharat Train in Tamil Nadu : 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to virtually inaugurate six Vande Bharat Trains in Tamil Nadu, including two new services managed by Southern Railway: the Coimbatore Jn – Bengaluru Cantonment – Coimbatore Vande Bharat Express and Mangaluru Central – Madgaon – Mangaluru Central Vande Bharat Express. The Coimbatore-Bengaluru route will now boast the fastest train service, covering 380 kms in 6 hours 20 minutes. Read More

 

Ayodhya Dham Junction Railway Station : 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the newly redeveloped Ayodhya Railway Station, now known as Ayodhya Dham Junction Railway Station, in Uttar Pradesh today. The station\’s architecture mirrors the design of the upcoming Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. During the event, the Prime Minister will also launch new Amrit Bharat trains and Vande Bharat trains. Amit Shah to Lay Foundation Stone for New NDFC Office in Gandhinagar : 

Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to lay the foundation stone for the new office building of the National Cooperative Dairy Federation of India Limited (NCDFI) in Gandhinagar this afternoon.
