Government Secures $100 Million Loan from ADB to Enhance Urban Services : 

The Government of India has agreed with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to secure a $100 million loan aimed at enhancing urban services and tourism facilities in the northeastern state of Tripura. The project includes upgrading urban water supply systems, involving the installation of 42 kilometres of new transmission and distribution pipes and the establishment of four new water treatment plants. Government Re-Imposes GRAP Stage-III Restrictions in Delhi-NCR to Safeguard Air Quality:

The Government has re-implemented Stage-III measures of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) in Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) to combat worsening air quality. This decision follows a sudden decline in the overall air quality, with the average Air Quality Index (AQI) reaching 409. ISRO Announces \’Bharat Space Station\’ as India Prepares for Amrit Kal:

ISRO Chairman S Somnath announced India\’s plan to establish its own \’Bharat Space Station\’ during the Amrit Kal. In the Chennai Grand Masters 2023 chess tournament, Indian chess prodigy Dommaraju Gukesh secured the title by drawing with compatriot Pentala Harikrishna. Arjun Erigaisi secured the second spot, with both Arjun and Gukesh finishing the event with 4.5 points out of 7. Gukesh claimed victory on tie-breaks. UN Security Council Urgently Calls for Humanitarian Access in Gaza Strip : 

The United Nations Security Council has approved a resolution aimed at increasing humanitarian aid to Gaza.
