INS Tarmugli : 

INS Tarmugli, a Trinkat Class Fast Attack Craft, was commissioned into the Indian Navy at Naval Dockyard, Visakhapatnam. Vice Admiral Sandeep Naithani oversaw the ceremony, and the ship, originally gifted to the Maldivian Naval Defence Forces in 2006, returned in May after restoration. Fitted with advanced technology, including MTU engines, water jet propulsion, a 30 mm gun, and radar systems, it will play a vital role in coastal surveillance and safeguarding Offshore Development Areas in the KG Basin and along the East Coast of India. Net Direct Tax Collection Soars 23.4% to ₹10.6 Lakh Crore Between April and November : 


From April to November 2023, the government\’s net direct tax collection is 58.34% of the Budget Estimates at ₹10.64 lakh crore, showing a 23.4% increase from last year. Gross collections, before refunds, reached ₹12.67 lakh crore, growing by 17.7%. Refunds issued during this period amounted to ₹2.03 lakh crore. The current fiscal\’s target for direct tax collection is ₹18.23 lakh crore, with an expected ₹15.38 lakh crore from net collections. Read More
