BJP Dominates in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan; Congress Prevails Over BRS in Telangana Elections:

In the Assembly Elections, BJP secured clear majorities in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh, while Congress emerged victorious in Telangana. Chief Ministers Ashok Gehlot, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, and Bhupesh Baghel submitted their resignations after the results. Telangana\’s K Chandrasekhar Rao resigned, and Congress won 64 seats, BJP secured eight, and the ruling BRS got 39 seats.   Read more


National Crisis Management Committee on cyclonic storm ‘Michaung’ : 

assess the readiness of State governments, Central Ministries, and Departments for the approaching cyclone \’Michaung\’ a cyclonic storm over the southwest Bay of Bengal is moving northwestwards, centered about 260 km east-southeast of Puducherry. The forecast indicates a northward movement, nearly parallel to the south Andhra Pradesh coast, with a projected landfall between Nellore and Machilipatnam during Tuesday forenoon as a Severe Cyclonic Storm, featuring maximum sustained winds of 90 to 100 km/h, gusting up to 110 km/h.  Read more



Renewed Israel-Hamas Conflict: Airstrikes Target Houses and Buildings in Gaza Strip: 

The situation between Israel and Hamas has escalated, with airstrikes hitting Gaza after a weeklong truce expired. Renewed rocket attacks from Gaza into Israel and fighting along the northern border with Hezbollah militants add to the complexity. Concerns are raised for the safety of hostages held by Hamas and other militants, with five confirmed deaths among them during this conflict.  Read more

The Education Ministry celebrates the International Day of Persons with Disabilities  on 3 December with an inclusive quiz on the MyGov Portal for a month. Open to all, participants can earn a digital certificate, fostering awareness and promoting inclusivity in line with the day\’s theme. This year\’s theme is \”United in action to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals for persons with disabilities.  Read more



PM Modi to be chief guest at Navy Day function, Maharashtra : 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Chief Guest for Navy Day in Maharashtra, will unveil Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj\’s statue at Rajkot Fort. The event includes operational demonstrations by the Indian Navy, a first outside a naval station. Celebrating Navy Day on December 4, it honors \”Operation Trident,\” the 1971 attack on Karachi. The event at Sindhudurg pays homage to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and showcases the new Naval Ensign inspired by his seal.  Read more
