On January 12, 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Sewri – Nhava Sheva Atal Setu, India\’s longest bridge and a significant infrastructure project for Mumbai. Stretching over 21.8 km, it also claims the title of the country\’s longest sea bridge. read more

In the North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council elections in Assam, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has successfully retained power. Five Arrested Under PMLA in Money Laundering Probe : 

The Enforcement Directorate ED has arrested five persons under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act PMLA in connection with the money laundering investigations against Bhushan Steel Limited related to Bank fraud of 56 thousand Crore rupees. The arrested persons Ajay Mittal, Archana Mittal, Nitin Johri, Pankaj Tewari and Pankaj Kumar alias Pankaj Agarwal were produced before a Special Court.
