The Telangana unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is preparing for a substantial final push by arranging an extensive 166 km long roadshow that will cover 24 constituencies in and around Hyderabad. This significant event, featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is slated for November 27, Monday, marking the last day for election campaigning in accordance with the Model Code of Conduct issued by the Election Commission of India (ECI).
In a bid to bolster the saffron party\’s standing in Hyderabad and the state, the BJP has disclosed a list of constituencies that the roadshow is scheduled to traverse. Starting from Musheerabad, the route encompasses Sanathnagar, Secunderabad, Secunderabad Cantonment, Malakpet, Yakatpura, Bahadurpura, Chandrayangutta, L B Nagar, Maheshwaram, Malkajgiri, Quthbullapur, Kukatpally, Uppal, Medchal, Amberpet, Khairatabad, Jubilee Hills, Nampally, Karwan, Serlingampally, Charminar, Rajendranagar, and concludes in Goshamahal.
The BJP has specified that the Prime Minister will actively participate in the roadshow, commencing from RTC X roads, passing through Narayanguda and YMCA Kacheguda junctions, and concluding his presence at the Veer Savarkar statue in Kacheguda. Telangana BJP leaders, including state BJP chief G Kishan Reddy, BJP OBC morcha chief K Laxman, and other senior leaders, are expected to accompany the Prime Minister during this extensive roadshow.
However, it is anticipated that commuters may face challenges due to the significant disruptions caused by this massive election roadshow on the city\’s roads. The state is set to go to the ballot on November 30, with the counting of votes scheduled for December 3.
