IAF Officer’s Wife Killed After Being Hit By Speeding Car On Yamuna Expressway

Wednesday saw a tragic incident unfold as the wife of a junior warrant officer in the Indian Air Force lost her life, and their two daughters sustained injuries in a rear-end collision with a high-speed car on the Yamuna Expressway. The police disclosed the details of the accident, explaining that the Indian Air Force\’s Junior Warrant Officer Deviprasad Mishra, stationed in Delhi, was traveling to Agra with his wife Kislay (40) and their daughters, Jigyasa and Adamya, in their vehicle, as reported by Superintendent of Police (Rural) Trigun Bishen.

This unfortunate event occurred during a stop they made in the Sureer police station area to address a natural need.

The collision was of such magnitude that it threw Kislay from the underpass bridge onto the Naujheel-Raya road, tragically resulting in her immediate passing.

Narendra Singh Yadav, the Station House Officer of Sureer police station, noted that the body of the deceased has been sent for a postmortem examination, and ongoing efforts are dedicated to locating the driver of the speeding car.
