DLSA Gbl organises awareness programme on constitutional values

On Constitution Day, the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Ganderbal conducted its second awareness program focusing on constitutional values, the fundamentals of the Indian Constitution, and the Reading of Preamble. The venue for the event was Government Middle School Mammer, Hariganwan.

The official spokesperson, in a statement, emphasized that Constitution Day is commemorated nationwide on November 26, 2023. The program was carried out under the guidance of Amit Gupta, Member Secretary, J&K Legal Services Authority, and chaired by Ritesh Kumar Dubey, Principal District and Sessions Judge, Ganderbal. Nusrat Ali Hakak, Civil Judge (Senior Division) and Secretary, DLSA Ganderbal, provided additional guidance.

The event witnessed the participation of Advocate Sajad Ahmad Khan, teachers, students from Government Middle School Mammer, Hariganwan, and para-legal volunteers of DLSA Ganderbal.

Advocate Sajad Ahmad Khan and students from Government Middle School recited the preamble during the program. A comprehensive understanding of the preamble enhances comprehension of the constitutional framework and empowers individuals to act as responsible citizens.

The awareness program served as a valuable opportunity for students to gain knowledge and a deeper appreciation for the constitutional values that contribute to shaping the fabric of our society.
