No official statements have been made by representatives of Ms. Spears at this point.
In a post to her 42 million Instagram followers on Wednesday night, the musician didn\’t directly address the divorce but rather mentioned her intention to \”soon acquire a horse.\”
Based on the divorce petition filed by Mr. Asghari in the Los Angeles County Superior Court, he is seeking spousal support and attorney fees from Ms. Spears.
The Iranian-American actor, model, and fitness trainer crossed paths with Ms. Spears while she was filming the music video for her song \”Slumber Party\” in 2016.
He was a vocal advocate of her efforts to terminate her father Jamie\’s conservatorship, a battle she successfully concluded mere months before their wedding.
