Assembly Election-Madhya Pradesh

In Madhya Pradesh assembly elections, PM Narendra Modi and leaders from various parties intensified campaigns. Modi rallied in Satna, Chhatarpur, and Neemuch, while Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi led Congress campaigns in Ashoknagar, Jabalpur, Satna, and Rewa. Other leaders like, Arvind Kejriwal, Bhagwant Mann, and Akhilesh Yadav actively participated in rallies and road shows across districts.          Read more

 

 

Mens Cricket World Cup

In the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup, England defeated the Netherlands by 160 runs, setting a target of 340. The Netherlands were all out for 179. New Zealand will face Sri Lanka today at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Read more

 

 

AAP MP Raghav Chaddha

The Rajya Sabha Privilege Committee met in New Delhi to discuss cases, including the suspension of AAP MP Raghav Chaddha. Chaddha was suspended for including MPs’ names without consent. The Supreme Court has directed him to apologize to Rajya Sabha chairperson Jagdeep Dhankhar. Read more

Foreign Universities in India 

The UGC released regulations allowing foreign universities to establish campuses in India. Eligible universities can collaborate, needing UGC approval and a top 500 global ranking. Multiple campuses are allowed with separate applications. They have faculty recruitment autonomy but cannot offer online or distance learning courses. Read more
